Its already November… WHAT????? Wow, this has officially been the fastest year of my life. I have been so focused on working 24/7 that time has just slipped right by. Its kinda nice though, back at the first of the year I made a few new years resolutions and am surprised at how close I am to meeting them.

One of my goals was to exercise almost everyday so I could stay fit and healthy. Ill admit that I didn’t work out everyday, but I did work out about three times a week on average. I am pretty surprised because I have set a bunch of new years resolutions in the past and have lost sight of them about two months in. But this year has been different. Another goal that I set, was to start and business and be making about 2000 a month pretty consistently. I also wanted to be working for myself and not for anyone else. I was pretty tired of working under someone and getting walked on. Again here I am being my own boss and I pull in about 1000-1500 on average and it is getting better and better each month.

The last goal that I set for myself last new years was to be the number one site for the term Idaho Falls Web Design, in Google, and I reached that goal happily last week!! I’m scared to say it but it seems like all the pieces are just sliding into place perfectly. It is taking a ton of dedication and long hours, but in my eyes it has been TOTALLY worth it the entire time. I would change a second of it for the world.

On that note, I’m super excited or the holidays to be arriving! This is my favorite time of the year, I love to snowboard so the anticipation of snow is intense. I hope that I can exceed my resolutions before the end of this year. Wish me luck!!!

Be easy..

This weekend was Memorial weekend, as I’m sure most of you knew.

<img src="http://www.tannerwaid.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/memorial.jpg"ALIGN=RIGHT>
Being Memorial weekend and all kinda got me thinking. Now I’m not really all that into war, fighting or death at all. I will admit however, that when I was in middle school I had dreams of becoming a Navy pilot and going to military school & the hole nine yards. But my views on life have changed since then, now I see life as the greatest gift, & I don’t believe it should be stripped from someone due to another’s problems. Plus there are a million other ways to solve a dispute without reverting to violence.

This doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate the veterans and current soldiers at war though. I value them very highly and respect every decision my country has ever made in the past. After all that is why we are where we are today, because of bravery and self sacrifice. I have family members that have served in the past and are ever so proud of the fact.

I watched a special on TV last night called “band of brothers”. It was a very deep show that got inside of me and made me… well….. sad. War is one of those things that isn’t quite understood unless you perceive it first hand. This movie did an excellent job of first hand perception, which is the reason I responded to it the way I did. It brought out that little patriot inside me, which pushed me to write this article and give a GIGANTICALLY HUGE THANKS to anyone that has had even the slightest bit to do with the war movement and the success of the Untied States of America.

You will be in our harts for eternity!!

Wow! I think I have gained about ten pounds this week haha… I love the holidays so much its got to be the best time of the year. I am really into snowboarding so I love the snowy weather. I like being surrounded by family that you don’t see very often. And i love giving and getting presents but then again who doesn’t.

Lately I have still been trying to edit the product page on my e-com sites so that they look more appealing to the customers, but it is harder than hell! I have been the the forum of the plugin creator Instinct but I have yet to get a reply so I’m kinda at a stand still. If anyone reading this knows how to edit the template files or knows anywhere I can get help that would be much appreciated…

Besides that I have been really looking into this new project that I am starting for a friend. Its going to be a great investment and it will give me some good practice which I am looking forward to. Plus I really have nothing to work on because getting wholesalers to drop ship is more time consuming than I first thought. Its okay though I’m just glad to see them in the finishing stages, and everyone I have showed them to thinks I did a great job and that makes all the time and effort worth while.

One thing that I am going to try out with this new project is to create a review site for the products that are going to be sold. I have been looking into these sites and they seem to convert like crazy. My room mate is also using review sites and they are working just fine for him. You see what you do is you fill the site with a ton of useful information and you rank it in Google and leave it link free. Once people hear of the site gain its trust and refer to it all the time you can then add links to the site you are trying to promote. You can also use a lead capture on the top of the site promoting a fantastic deal that people just cant pass up. Thats how you get people into your mailing list which is another key tool when it comes to completing sales. So there is the tip of the day haha you can thank me later…. Plus they are cheap and you can make them simple because simplicity sales. Be easy!

Future Goals

1) Continue product page edit.

2) Build a review site for new project.

3) Learn something new everyday.

4) Prepare for CHRISTMAS!!!! yay!
