Memorial Day
This weekend was Memorial weekend, as I’m sure most of you knew.

Being Memorial weekend and all kinda got me thinking. Now I’m not really all that into war, fighting or death at all. I will admit however, that when I was in middle school I had dreams of becoming a Navy pilot and going to military school & the hole nine yards. But my views on life have changed since then, now I see life as the greatest gift, & I don’t believe it should be stripped from someone due to another’s problems. Plus there are a million other ways to solve a dispute without reverting to violence.
This doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate the veterans and current soldiers at war though. I value them very highly and respect every decision my country has ever made in the past. After all that is why we are where we are today, because of bravery and self sacrifice. I have family members that have served in the past and are ever so proud of the fact.
I watched a special on TV last night called “band of brothers”. It was a very deep show that got inside of me and made me… well….. sad. War is one of those things that isn’t quite understood unless you perceive it first hand. This movie did an excellent job of first hand perception, which is the reason I responded to it the way I did. It brought out that little patriot inside me, which pushed me to write this article and give a GIGANTICALLY HUGE THANKS
to anyone that has had even the slightest bit to do with the war movement and the success of the Untied States of America.
You will be in our harts for eternity!!
